Update November 22, 2010: We crossed the boarder from San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) to Bolivia with a 3 days trip with a 4WD Jeep, which includes nice colorful lagoons, wonderful desert landscape, huge volcanos and the biggest salt desert called salar de uyuni. We had a awesome group and a super guide, which maybe drived without license:-) But who need a license to drive a car if there are now roads. Our highest peak on the tour was 4800 above sea level. Our breathing was like a old man, but we getting used to it after a while. Thanx to the coca leafs:-) The tour was definetly one of our best trip until now.
